Amanda + Andreas
We had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Andreas’ intimate and charming greenhouse wedding at Osteria in Philadelphia this past weekend. First off, the couple is a photographer’s dream to photograph. They are both incredibly photogenic. Pretty sure Amanda was a model in a past life… just wait until you see her bridal portraits below and you’ll know what I’m talking about. They were so fun to photograph during portraits.
Second, the venue they chose was very unique, cozy, charming, and after the sun went down, the greenhouse room was enchanting with string lights and potted plants hanging from the glass ceiling. Osteria was the perfect place for their wedding ceremony. Lastly, their style and details were simple, clean, and elegant. Andreas and Amanda’s wedding is the perfect example of less is more. Classic black tuxedos, a stylish and clean white dress with laced cuffs, and white and green florals. Additionally, choosing a venue that has all the charm built in is a great way to make a statement without needing to spend a lot of time and money working on decor and making the place look good. It already looks great and any decor you add only accents.
This was Amanda and Andreas’ third wedding (technically). After their courthouse ceremony, and then a wedding celebration in Belgium where much of Andreas’ extended family lives, their Osteria wedding was the third wedding day they got to share together. How often do you get more than one wedding day? What made this wedding extra special for us is that we photographed Amanda’s sister’s wedding a few years ago. Getting the chance to photograph multiple weddings for the same family is always something we’re grateful we get the opportunity to do. And we don’t take it lightly knowing that we are responsible for documenting multiple huge milestones for a single family. Best of all, we know we are fully trusted especially during that second round because they’ve asked us to come back and that trust means so much. So to Amanda, Andreas, and your families, thank you for trusting us with your important memories.

You guys are the best! I know you were a bit nervous going into portraits, and don’t necessarily love being the center of attention as I know you’re both a bit introverted, but you guys look absolutely incredible and did so well in front of the camera all day long. Thanks for trusting us again with your photos. We had the very best time with you and your families and are so thankful we got the chance to capture all of these photos for you. They’re some of our favorite photos we’ve taken in all of 2022 and we hope you love them just as much as we do.
