Wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club

Nishaad + Alexa

A few months back we met up with Nishaad and Alexa for their beautiful engagement session in Manhattan, NY. We’ve been excitedly looking forward to their wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club ever since. These are two of the sweetest, most deserving of love people you’ll ever meet. Their love story goes all the way back to high school. They’ve made it through so much together and we couldn’t be happier for them.

As I mentioned, they’re such warm and loving people, and it’s a pure reflection of how their families raised them. We truly felt like part of Nishaad and Alexa’s family on their wedding day. Their parents made time to stop and talk to us like people and not just hired photographers. Nishaad’s mother came to talk with us during one of the courses being served, and she even made sure to get a photo of the two of us. Everyone was just so wonderful.

Family is a huge part of life for Nishaad and Alexa. There were so many beautiful moments throughout the day. Loads of hugs, kisses, toasts, and photos of them with their family. We loved watching their parent’s joy as they got to celebrate their children getting married. You could visibly see how elated and proud they are of Nishaad and Alexa. Everyone was up on the dance floor to celebrate the bride and groom, and even grandparents were on the dance floor dancing with their grandchildren. It was so sweet to see. The entire wedding day was filled with so much joy and love.

Style

To say Nishaad and Alexa have style would be an understatement. This was hands down one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve ever photographed. Nishaad wore a dark green tux. At first glance, I didn’t even realize it was green until the light hit it a certain way or he was standing next to his groomsmen who were in black tuxes. The green pops even more in the photos you’ll see below. The bridesmaids wore different style dresses that lived within a burnt orange color palette. This was all accented with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers that had greens, whites, yellows, and tans.

Their table centerpieces varied with some tables consisting of bottles and vases with some pampas grass, flowers, and other greenery. Other tables had some more traditional floral centerpieces that contrasted well with the bottle and vase centerpieces. The biggest installation was at their ceremony. A stunning circle of flowers and grasses was set up behind them. It was truly a photographer’s dream to shoot a wedding with such attention to detail, but that’s just a cherry on top. The best part is getting to photograph two people in love who you now consider friends. Nishaad and Alexa are two beautiful people both inside and out. We’d photograph them and their wedding every weekend if we had the chance.
