Jeff + Chelsea

Our 2021 wedding season has officially come to a close, and what a wedding to end on! Jeff and Chelsea booked us way back in 2019 and originally planned to get married in February 2021. Due to the pandemic they had to postpone until November 2021. They were supposed to kick off our season, but ended up as the last wedding we photographed in 2021. As much as the waiting really stunk, it was great to end our 2021 season with them at their Dreams Playa Mujeres Wedding in Cancun, Mexico!

Friends First

We love working with all of our couples, but there are just some people you connect with more than others. Jeff and Chelsea are certainly those people. Our entire goal is to always become friends first, and photographers second. We want to be friends with cameras on the wedding day and it was easier than ever before with these two. But the former couples who they found us through have been people we would choose to work with over and over again because they’re just so wonderful (lookin’ at you Jim + Alyssa and Bill + Kaitlyn).

Becoming friends with Jeff and Chelsea throughout the last two years has been such a joy. We have a lot in common with them, and bonded with them over a very intense fitness and diet program (to look out best in Mexico, of course), and over our individual businesses. Like us, they are also self-employed and run an in-home doggie daycare, boarding, and dog walking service called Combo & Co. Connecting with them was super easy and we’ve loved every chance we’ve had to get together with them whether it’s been for their engagement session, random dinner get togethers, or for their weddings (both in their home and in Mexico).

So without further ado, here is a humongous blog post to finish off our 2021 season. Considering we spent a week in Mexico with them, I think we narrowed it down pretty well, but we are showcasing multiple shoots throughout this week like their cute welcome party on the beach, their pre-wedding sunrise session in the ocean, their rehearsal dinner, the full wedding day, and a day after session where they jumped right back in their wedding outfits and snapped a few portraits with us because (spoilers) it rained on their wedding day.

We love you guys! Spending the week with you is without doubt high up on our list of the best parts of 2021. We are so happy for you both, and we’re so thankful we got to experience so many wonderful moments with you throughout the last two years. We can’t wait to see you guys again soon, maybe for some Pancheros, or for a doggie playdate.
